Upcoming Band Performances - 4/16, 4/22, and 5/25
Peacock's Jazz Band will perform at 6:30 pm on Thursday, April 16 in the Peacock gym. Band members should report to the band room at 6:00 pm for uniform inspection.
On Wednesday, April 22, the Concert Band (grade 6) and the Symphonic Band (grades 7-8) will perform at 7:00 pm in the Peacock gym. Band members must report at 6:10 pm for uniform inspection. Each band member will receive an award recognizing their years of service, and the evening will conclude with a cake and lemonade reception in the cafeteria.
The Peacock Marching Band will participate in the Itasca Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25. Band members must report to Franzen in uniform between 8:30-8:45 am. Step-off will take place at 9:30. Extra morning rehearsals will begin May 4. All band members must attend these rehearsals, including students who will be out of town on parade day. Please download the Parade Rehearsal Schedule for rehearsal dates. Also, please download and return the Parade Permission Form by the April 30 deadline.

The Itasca Music Boosters need adult volunteers to assist with easy tasks. These tasks help provide high quality music experiences for our students. Our sound system, used at Peacock and throughout the district, has reached the end of its lifecycle. This system includes microphones and stands, cables, a mixing board, an amplifier, a feedback eliminator, a signal processor, an effects board, a digital recorder/playback unit, and heavy-duty speakers.
